Alaska Inside-passage Cruise with Princess Cruise Lines
We will depart on an afternoon flight – May 28th (Friday) on Alaska Airlines and fly to Seattle.
Upon our arrival we will transfer to the Holiday Inn Express where you will have the remaining portion of the day to relax and do as you wish. The nearby light rail system can transport you to the excitement of Seattle should you want an adventure this evening.
Saturday, May 29th – The group will have a private tour of Seattle this morning before arriving at the cruise terminal midday for embarkation on the beautiful Emerald Princess. Your Alaska Inside Passage cruise is ready to begin.
Sunday, May 30th – A relaxing sea day to enjoy the beautiful Emerald Princess and all of its amenities.
Monday, May 31st – Juneau, Alaska. This is Alaska’s small Capital City. It is a beautiful port city and adjacent to Mendenhall Glacier. There are many optional shore excursions you can join if you wish including a tram ride up Mt. Roberts for amazing views.
Tuesday, June 1st – Skagway, Alaska. Experience yesteryear along Skagway’s charming boardwalk lined with buildings that replicate the Gold Rush days. Perhaps you’ll want to join an optional excursion onboard the White Pass Railway for a tour that combines history and beauty into the Yukon Territory.
Wednesday, June 2nd – One of Alaska’s lesser-known gems, Endicott Arm Fjord marks the southern edge of Fords Terror Wilderness area. As you drift through its 30-mile-long stretch, you can’t help but be awed by the surrounding granite cliffs, mountain valleys and dozens of gushing waterfalls. Drifting icebergs, deep blue waters and a spectacular tidewater glacier (Dawes Glacier) only add to this natural spectacle’s appeal.
Thursday, June 3rd – Ketchikan, Alaska. Discover why Ketchikan is also known as the “Salmon Capital of the World.” The city is built on steep hillsides along the water and features a colorful and bustling port.
Friday, June 4th – Another relaxing day at sea followed by an evening visit to the sophisticated seaside city of Victoria, British Columbia. Here you can stroll the charming port city and visit the Empress Hotel or take an optional excursion to the world famous Butchart Gardens. You have plenty of options in Victoria.
Saturday, June 5th – Disembark the ship and transfer to the airport for a flight home.
