(Please note that flight arrangements can be made for travelers departing from other cities besides Salt Lake City). Our comfortable hotel accommodations for the night will be at the Drury Inn.
Tuesday, November 12th –
After breakfast this morning we will pay a visit to the Federal Reserve Bank Money Museum in Kanas City. Here you’ll have the opportunity to watch millions of dollars in currency being processed, you can lift a gold bar worth nearly $400,000 and enjoy fun, interactive exhibits while learning about the economy.
Afterwards, we will enjoy our scenic drive to Branson. Along the way we will delight in the changing scenery and enjoy interesting stories and legends about Branson and the Ozarks. After settling into our hotel, The Holiday Inn Express, we will enjoy a group dinner at Landry’s Seafood and Steakhouse. After dinner we are honored to spend a holiday evening at the Presley’s Country Jubilee. In 1967 the Presley’s built the first music theater in Branson. Today, that theater is a Branson landmark and the Presley family is still entertaining audiences with a one of-a kind mix of country, gospel, bluegrass, hilarious comedy and, at this time of the year, Christmas! (breakfast and dinner included)
Wednesday, November 13th
Today we start with a morning by showing you around town on our Ozark Hills and Branson Sightseeing Tour. Branson has more than just great entertainment. It is nestled in the scenic Ozark Mountains near lovely lakes and streams. It also has a history that is fun to learn about. No other city puts on a Christmas party like Branson, Missouri, and you will notice the festive atmosphere in the city where holiday cheer and world class entertainment come together for a Christmas to remember.
We have your afternoon planned with the sensational holiday entertainment of The Haygoods. These five brothers, along with their sister, will blend their voices for an incredible Christmas performance. The Haygoods have been performing in Branson for over 20 years and their success has earned them ‘Branson’s Most Popular Show’ several years in a row.
We will be treated to a private dinner at Chateau on the Lake. This huge hotel fortress sits above Table Rock Lake and provides remarkable views and sunsets. Be sure to check out the gingerbread village on display at the Chateau.
After dinner we will wind down our day at the Clay Cooper’s Country Express – this show has something for everyone! Enjoy live music, singing, dancing, hysterical comedy and more! From George Jones to Hunter Hayes, from the Doobie Brothers to Bruno Mars, Clay and his cast of 24 veteran entertainers will bring you a high energy performance filled with a variety of music – country, gospel, patriotic, Christmas and more! (breakfast and dinner included)
Thursday, November 14th
After breakfast at the hotel we are headed to see more sights of the Branson area including the fascinating College of the Ozarks. Here we will have a student share the campus tour with us as we learn what makes this small College so famous and nicknamed “Hard Work U”. On campus we will visit the gristmill, greenhouses, the Keeter Center and pay a visit to the Ralph Foster Museum which is known as the “Smithsonian of the Ozarks”.
This afternoon we’ll board the authentic Showboat Branson Belle, and cruise the beautiful Table Rock Lake. While onboard, we’ll enjoy an elegant meal and world-class entertainment featuring singing, dancing and good old-fashioned fun and entertainment. Showboat Branson Belle is considered by many to be one of the highlights of their tour to Branson.
Our evening will be spent with the very successful Hughes Brothers. Not only do the brothers have the reputation of astounding all ages with their rich harmonies, but their performance is brilliantly choreographed, showcasing the foot-steppin’ moves of the brothers. When the Hughes Brothers arrived in Branson in 2000, they rented the Roy Clark Celebrity Theatre. The show has been a huge success and now the brothers own the theatre and have renamed it the Hughes Brothers Theatre. This Christmas production will make you feel right
feel right at home in the Ozarks. The five brothers, along with their talented family members, always deliver a touching and memorable Christmas show. (breakfast & dinner included
Friday, November 15th
Today we will head to Dewey Short Visitor Center to learn the story of Table Rock Lake. After that experience we we’ll visit Branson Landing – Branson’s unique waterfront entertainment, dining and shopping complex located on the shores of Lake Taneycomo. Don’t miss the multi-million-dollar fountain show choreographed with water, light, music and fire. The same company that designed the fountains at Bellagio in Las Vegas, and Downtown Disney Marketplace in Orlando developed this water attraction. Have your cameras ready!
This afternoon we will delight at the magnificent Sights and Sounds Theater. Everyone talks about this great pageant, “Miracle of Christmas” and this afternoon you get to experience it! With live animals, a massive stage, and a large and talented cast, you’ll now know why this show should be on everyone itinerary when coming to Branson.
We will be treated to a special dinner tonight at Paula Deen’s Family Kitchen. As a chef, author, televisions personality, Paula is known for her great southern cooking and butter, butter, butter.
We have saved the Gatlin Brothers Christmas Show for your grand finale on your Branson Christmas tour. As the house lights go down, the stage lights come up, and the music of Larry Gatlin and The Gatlin Brothers will begin and you’ll be tempted to get up and dance in the aisles. They will present some of their famous songs such as “All the Gold in California” along with Christmas Classics at the classic Mansion Theatre. (breakfast and dinner included)
